As a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization, all donations to the Women’s Shelter Program are acknowledged and are may be eligible for an income tax deduction. Please consult your respective financial planner, tax attorney or other financial professional for more information.

The Women’s Shelter Program is in dire need of a vehicle to assist in serving our residents who stay at the Safe House. The staff need a vehicle that will transport residents to our confidential location & to and from court, etc. We are seeking a vehicle, preferably a van that can seat 6 to 8 passengers with relatively low mileage (20, 000 to 50,000 miles) and a possibility of fold down seating to accommodate those with mobility equipment.
If you would like to donate a vehicle to the WSP Safe House, please contact our donation line at (805) 781-6401 x 260. Thank you!

Note: As a general rule, the agency can not accept new or used clothing donations, due to storage restraints. If you would like to donate used clothing, please contact U.V.S. Thrift Store (located at 474 Marsh St, Suite E, in the City of San Luis Obispo). U.V.S. Thrift Store graciously allows the agency’s clients to shop for needed clothing items. As such, your donation of used clothes to U.V.S. can ultimately benefit our clients! Additionally, we can never accept donations of used toys due to safety concerns. Thank you for your understanding.
