We asked some of our supporters to tell us why they choose to donate to the Women’s Shelter Program and here is what they told us:

“I have been very active in the local business community for many years. I have been honored to help collect turkeys for holiday meals for the Women’s Shelter for about 6 years now. I have also enjoyed helping the Women’s Shelter over the years through my attendance at the Phyllis Madonna Fashion Show.
Sometimes, life can throw you a curve ball. In 2009, I had a humbling experience and actually needed to reach out to the Women’s Shelter personally– for myself and my young daughters. I am appreciative of the Shelter and the wonderful resource it is to our community on an entirely new level now. A very humbling and personal level.
