RESTORE A SMILE

Seven years ago Dr. Guy Jones of Central Coast Smiles decided to take a stand against domestic violence. He created the Restore a Smile; Restore a Life campaign to raise funds for the Women's Shelter Program of San Luis Obispo County(WSP) . Over the years, more and more local dentists have become part of this effort to combat domestic violence in our community.

The program is simple. During the month of June, participating dentists are offering a complete at home tooth whitening sytem including custom fit moulds, prescription whitener, and detailed instructions for a one-time fee of $195- normally $390. The program has been incredibly successful.

These funds are crucial part of the Women's Shelter Program. The entire fee goes into WSP's general fund, which will help offset the budget cuts and assist in keeping needed services available. The Restore a Smile campaign makes it possible to provide vital services to victims of intimate partner violence and child abuse.
