Women’s Shelter Program Internship Opportunities

Undergraduate, Graduate, and MFT internships and trainee-ships are available with the Women’s Shelter Program.

Our talented interns are an essential and very valued part of the Women’s Shelter Program.

Some of the benefits of interning at the agency include:
-Obtaining clinical therapy hours to be used towards your degree completion or BBS licensure requirements
-Receiving clinical training in working with adults and children affected by trauma and abuse
-Gaining experience in individual and group therapy treatment modalities
-Obtaining specialized training in play therapy, art therapy and cognitive-behavioral treatment approaches
-Receiving individual and group supervision with an experienced, licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
-Participating in available continuing education training opportunities
