COUNSELING SERVICES Counseling Services | Legal Services Center for Alternatives to Domestic Violence The Center for Alternatives to Domestic Violence is a counseling center that provides services to all people affected by domestic violence. The center provides individual counseling to victims, batterers, and children on a sliding-scale fee, based on ability to pay. The Center offers individual counseling for family members affected by domestic violence (women, men, teens, and children), counseling groups for victims, batterers, and children, and play therapy room for children. We are aware that abuse can occur in any relationship, therefore counseling is available for partners in gay and lesbian relationships. Rules for acceptance and participation in the program are the same for everyone without regard to race, color, national origin, sexual orientation, age, sex, or disability (providing program requirements and funding guidelines are met.) These groups fill up fast! South County Counseling Services The Center for Alternatives to Domestic Violence has expanded to South San Luis Obispo County! Our brand new Grover Beach location, CADV South, offers counseling & related services to those affected by domestic violence.
